Prices are shown on T-Shirt Studio in your own currency, which is why they aren't listed here - we'd rather send you to the real number than risk showing you an old one.

Where the money goes

£10 from every hoodie, £6 from every t-shirt and £5 from every cap comes to Empty Chairs. The rest covers the garment, the printing, the postage and T-Shirt Studio's costs.

That money does the same job as a donation: helping hosts run tables, keeping the site and the event listings going, and reaching places that don't have a table yet.

Empty Chairs Ltd is a non-profit company, not a registered charity, so this isn't a charitable donation and there's no Gift Aid on it. How Empty Chairs is run explains the structure.

What wearing it means

Anyone can buy these. You don't have to be a host, and you don't have to have been to an event.

Wearing one says you'd sit with someone. It doesn't say you're running an Empty Chairs event table - our hosts are named on the event listing, and that's how to know who's who when you arrive somewhere.

Wearing orange tells strangers you're happy to chat, which is the whole idea.

Not one for merch?

A £10 donation gives us the same as a hoodie does, and costs you rather less. If it's the cause you want to back rather than the clothes, you can back it directly.
